Process and details:

Lino cutting has filled a creative void while I take time away from my bench. It’s a project I can get into a flow that feels good. It’s very satisfying to carve into linoleum. The process reminds of making jewelry, except on a bigger scale with a much softer material. To print without a press you have to burnish(?) the paper onto the block with a barren and spoon. It takes forever and can be a little unpredictable but if everything is just right it works.
